An approximately $2.3 million asphalt paving project on a two-mile section of 34 Mile Road between Fisher Road
and Campground Road in Bruce Township, which is in Macomb County, began in late spring and it is expected to
be completed by early summer 2016.

To save Southgate residents from re-occurring backup of sewage into their basements, Hennessey Engineers, Inc.,
of Southgate, designed a relief sewer line using polypropylene pipe that sped construction and solved the problem
